🌟 A Moment From the Publisher & Editor - Kimberly Wright
Every season brings its own rhythm, and this one has reminded me of something I hold close: protect your energy by any means necessary. In our homes, in our work, volunteering, and in the communities we serve, our energy is our compass. Protect it, honor it, and do not allow it to be disturbed. PERIOD. It guides how we show up, how we advocate, and how we pour into the people, places, and things that which you are most compassionate about and matter most. When we protect our energy, we protect our purpose.
As the Publisher & Editor of EastAtlanta.MacaroniKID.com, Decatur.MacaroniKID.com, and CollegePark.MacaroniKID.com, I have been reflecting on how each of our communities continues to grow, evolve, and shine. From new partnerships to expanding coverage to the incredible events happening across Metro Atlanta, I am grateful for every family, every reader, and every organization which trusts us to keep them connected and us connected.

- East Atlanta - Downtown Atlanta - Little 5 Points continue to thrive with vibrant arts, culture, and family‑friendly happenings in our neighborhoods, which makes them feel alive.
- Decatur - Avondale Estates - Toco Hills is buzzing with educational events, local celebrations, and community‑driven activities which highlight the heart of our city and more opportunities to #FindYourFamilyFun.
- College Park – East Point – Jonesboro is expanding with even more resources, guides, and opportunities for families to explore, learn, and play.

💛 Advocacy Starts With You
As we move through this year, I encourage you to stand firmly as an advocate for yourself, your children, and the communities you belong to. Speak up with confidence. Set boundaries without apology. Celebrate every win, big or small. Protect your peace fiercely. Your energy is sacred; nurture it, honor it, and let it guide you toward what feels aligned, purposeful, and true. And remember: not everyone deserves access to your table. Do not allow energy vampires to drain your light or distract you from your mission.
Right now, I am advocating for the ADA community in rooms I never imagined entering and securing seats, yes, seats, at tables beyond my wildest dreams. I am not only heard; I am valued, respected, and making a meaningful impact. This is what happens when you protect your energy and walk boldly in your purpose.
